OBSIDIAN SHADE
Real Name: Max LeVey

History: Obsidian Shade is a strange case. Formerly a violent drunk named Max LeVey, his own flux was altered when he became the dimensional transfer host for the leviathan Syth being transferred from Aurora to Grimoire. He has become bonded to the leviathan in a strange psychic phenomenon that neither of them truly understands or is even aware of.

Real Name: Namtillaku Jang-Syth

History: Syth has rather a mysterious past, one he himself is unaware of. He thinks he is a rather bizarre from of DeviGene, when in actuality he is a banished seraphim from Aurora. When seraphims are banished and sent to Grimoire, they must first pass through a mortal host. Syth's host was Max LeVey. Because LeVey was a DeviGene, the transfer was interrupted and Syth emerged on the plane of Mundane (which we call Earth) as a pseudo-leviathan. He has a craving from human blood, which leads many to believe he is a vampire. He has superhuman strength and agility, can fly through the use of huge bat-like wings and also has sharp taloned fingers and deadly fangs.

Real Name: Ambrosia Poe

Devigene Flux: Mystic Awareness
History: Poe is a follower of the arcana arts. In other words, she is a practioner of magick. She carries a staff that contains the Eye of Amos, which enhances her own mystical ability. She has in her knowledge a great array of spells to use at her disposal. She encountered the Leviathan Syth while Syth was on a five year journey of self discovery prior to the actual 'UrBaN DeCaY' series. She ended up accompanying Syth back to meet Obsidian Shade and Caliban and ultimately joined the new team, Coven-13. 
THORN

Devigene Flux: Adrenaline Enhancement, Darkforce Generation/Control (Limited)
History: Thorn was a devigene who had the flux of adrenaline enhancement, in that when her adrenaline started to increase, so did her physical traits, such as strength, speed, etc. This also seemed to affect her pheramones as well, as her sex appeal also became somewhat superhuman. A brief affair with Shade 'infected' her with Shade's obsidian darkforce and she now can create darkforce thorns that protrude from her body. |
