i noticed you the minute you entered -

i wasn't witness to your grand entrance
but i could feel you...

the entire atmosphere
seemed to adjust to you
and i was prone to follow.
i looked for you -

out of curiosity;
a feeling
that you needed to be found.

i saw you
and the minute i collapsed into your eyes
i knew i had found you -
for instantly,
like a rose on the tongue of a summer morning's sun,
i was awakened:

to the ignorance i had once condoned as a youth.

and all at once,
shown such a vision!
seemingly forbidden to,
and justly ignored by,
all those under the age of thirty.

your movement was awkward,
almost clumsy.
but at the same time,
it possessed a grace i could not describe;
a form that in itself
was undeniably beautiful
and made me look
far more the clumsy.

i cannot peel my eyes,
my mind,
my train of thought,
from you before me.

what is it?
whatever it is
i like it.

i dream easier now.
i have seen a heaven
and danced with an angel.

i needed to be found too.
